Configuration.compress()

Description

Appends a compress filter to the current pipeline layout.

A compress filter compresses messages.

INPUT - Messages to compress.
OUTPUT - Compressed Messages.

Syntax

Parameters

compress(algorithm)

algorithm

Compression algorithm or a function that returns the compression algorithm. Available compression algorithms are "deflate", "gzip".

Return Value

The same Configuration object.
